So Much To Blog, So Little Time!

My Christmas Wishes:
Peace on Earth and Goodwill toward people. Besides this, I wish to skip Christmas entirely this year.

Anyway, now to my blog...Where to start?:
  • I'm an Alien, I'm a legal Alien, I'm an Englishman in Texas, Yee-Haw!!! I talked to immigration and my status in the U.S. is not affected by changes in my personal life. I am a permanent resident on my own merit until 2016. I don't have to camp out all night in Dallas and I don't even have to pay them any money.
  • Business is good. I am currently working on Prime Time and Frontier Texas. Several other projects are still on the radar, I simply ran out of time in the run up to Christmas. The week of Christmas, I am concentrating my focus on developing my infrastructure and producing these projects.
  • Last week, I taped 2 concerts, a play, and a wedding.
  • This week, I made DVD's of 2 concerts, a play, and a wedding.
  • Thursday, while eating lunch, I got a call from a producer in Seattle, seeing if I was available to shoot a football game in Brownwood on Saturday. I am, and they are paying me more than A.I.S.D.
Merry Christmas and Cheers Everybody!

Well the weather sure is crazy isn't it? One day it's a whopping 81 degrees, and the next day it's meant to be the same, but no, it's 45. And then the next day is freezing precipitation. What the krap!
Anyway, Blogville sure is SLOW...kind of like............

Friday night I realized that I have been here way too long! I have no plans to return home to England, however a holiday is way overdue.
During my toast to Elliot and Billy at their birthday party I said 'Y'ALL' at least 5 times in 2 minutes.

Thanksgiving!

Ok..it's been a while.
I got to go out of town for 4 days. I went to Denton for Thanksgiving and had a good time with the in-laws. I am good on the Turkey for another year.
Friday, woke up with a stomach bug that lasted 12 hours. I never get sick and I felt like I was dying...correction...just miserable! We went to the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Grapevine. It was frigid cold, very busy but sooo worth it. Incredible!
Saturday, I spent the afternoon with Bobby Parham driving around in his interceptor, shooting laser, pulling over unsuspecting drivers, giving them warnings...it was fun, but then it got more funner...
The final stop of the day, was a damaged license plate, turning up a suspended license leading to an arrest, leading to a drug bust. The small amount of weed was so strong I was getting high just sitting there. Of course the kid claimed no knowledge of the stache, but by the time we were done booking him in it was clear that he was quite a connoisseur, an afficianado. Other cops think Bobby nabbed a bigger player than he recognized. Go Bobby!!!!!!!!!!
Must go to work...Chow!

Christ's Community Resource Center

Ok...so this weekend my plan was to work at Shotwell Friday night and do the edit for CCRC (Christ's Community Resource Center) on Saturday (Today), but then I got the call about 2 games on Saturday. I said I was available to work, forgetting about the edit. So my day went like this... My kid woke me up at 7:30 as she does every Saturday. I took her for a walk, took a shower, posted my previous blog while talking to my parents in England for FREE on SKYPE! www.skype.com for an hour. I worked the ACU game and then returned home to take my kid for another walk before returning to work the second game which ended at 10:15pm. I went home to work the CCRC edit. The time is now 3:30am on Sunday and here is the CCRC promo:

The High-Lites!

Ok...it's been a few days! Lets see?...
Thursday sucked. I enjoy my job at KTXS and every morning I go in to do the best job I can for them...however our producer needs replacing and she and I are like oil and water. My emotions are volatile and so it is treacherous. Management is cutting me slack...hopefully they'll give me Friday after Thanksgiving off so I can take a 4 day weekend away at my in laws. They love me!

Friday...a good day! Went by the Peter's place. I was encouraged by Kim whatever her name is now's, story. Received Divorce papers in the mail. Downloaded SKYPE on my computer and talked to my parents for free over the internet in real time. My brother was not available for a conference call. Erica came to my house to get a few things and cleared out her clothes. Shot the AHS/OHS at Shotwell stadium in the evening. That was fun.

Saturday - I woke up in a depressed funk. I did not want to get up. I got up and went to the Super Life Group Extreme Makeover Edition at Sherry Peter's place. I was producing a video of the event for Church on Sunday. I did not want to be there. In a funk all day. I couldn't figure out why. I finally figured out why. The big reveal was great. The workday was over! I went home and started editing. I called it quits and went to bed at 1:30am.

Sunday - a brand new day! I got up early to finish the edit. I got it done at 10am.

I am having a good hair day. Went to church! Awesome worship by startworldhunger.blogspot.com! Phenomenal arrangement of When I think About The Lord. Dancing is freeing, especially when you don't give a damn what people think of your dancing. Sam Weaver is doing a great job with the visual media.

After church went to lunch with the Belcher's at the First Methodist church in Baird. It was there annual Thanksgiving lunch, fund raiser. You know you're a redneck...when you have no problem paying $40 for a cake. From there I took my kid for a walk. She likes the scents and smells of other bitches. Went to Abilene to look for an Open House to shoot. Found one. Rejected at first, but told I could with no obligation! Duh!!! It was a 3500 sq foot house, 5 bedrooms, 4 baths for $500,000 reduced. I only shot a couple of rooms and spent 30 minutes talking with the builders' wife. They would be a very good client to launch with - Pray for favor! All of the usual suspects are dispersed far and wide, and so I watch the Cowboys beat the Giants - with Jimbo. (Jim Becker) Brenda calls and needs a spare car key. I delivered the key to an unlocked car - oops was that uncovering! Blogged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to bed!

Metamorphasis

Metamorphosis is a biological process by which an animal physically develops after birth or hatching, involving a conspicuous and relatively abrupt change in the animal's form or structure through cell growth and differentiation. This is usually (but not always) accompanied by a change of habitat or Behaviour.

I am 31 and currently going through a 'Metamorphosis' of my own. Today I have put to bed some details that have been representative of the previous life which will be disclosed in future blogs.

I got 2 disposable cameras developed that have been full for a very long time, one for 2 1/2 years.
I have WD40'd my car door taking care of the squeak.
I am replacing the stereo in my car which hasn't worked for months.
I have fixed the front door knob at the house.
Took down the pic's of Erica above my desk - Yes she is beautiful but I totally missed the message that she was communicating.
I am quitting smoking - it won't be long.
I am walking regularly.
I am praying regularly.
I am singing regularly.
I am dancing regularly.

Still to come:
Work out regularly.

Hot Off The Press!

Before I begin, I want to bring your attention to the Top Right Box called Topics. This is a handy search tool to find blog entries that have a VIDEO. Right now there are 4.
I have started uploading videos, especially KLF related pieces, to my blog as it is an incredible marketing tool and it's free. I am still putting them on Youtube, keyword: kingdom life fellowship. On Youtube, our church has received 4,779 views. This means that people who don't attend KLF are viewing these videos. Please share with friends.

Anyway, to the blog:
It's that time of year again. The temperatures are shifting to the 80's rather than the 90's. Tree leaves have turned to hues of brown and orange and are falling to the ground. Pecan trees are loaded and ready for harvest, and Erica is on the campaign trail generating and finalizing support for the 2nd annual 'City Of Clyde' Hallelujah Night2007.
Here is the promo. Enjoy!

also, here is this weeks bulletin.

INFUSE Youth Ministry

Ira Akers is doing an incredible job leading the youth @ KLF. He is also a powerful worship leader and I have the privilege of working with him on the Bulletin every week, which explains why his personality is in virtually every video that I produce for KLF. Ode to Ira - Ira Roy Akers.

Welcome to Our Family!

A few weeks ago was the New Partner's Lunch at KLF. Brandon Hawk, now in charge of that department, commissioned me to produce a 7 minute video to show at the lunch. This video moved 3 people to tears.

Where was I...?

Everybody else has shared where they were and what they were doing on that day. I haven't yet and so here it is.
I went into college early to work on my portfolio. I was graduating in 2 weeks and had to submit the portfolio in order to walk the stage. Another student came into the computer lab where I was working and turned on the TV. She said the trade center had been hit by a plane. Not being from here, I thought that she was talking about the trade center in Dallas, the only trade center I was remotely familiar with. It soon became clear that we were witnessing a terrible day for America.
Anyway, all students were sent home for the day and college was shut down. A little frustrated that I couldn't work on my portfolio I went home and turned on my own TV and sat in front of it, numb, for probably a good 12 hours solid.
I finally got to return to college 3 days later, now with only a week to finish my portfolio. I worked extremely hard to pull the project together and was recognized for best portfolio, top of the class, and graduated with Dean's honors with a 3.9GPA.
Looking back on the portfolio, it is quite crap in comparison to my current work. Maybe I will share it some time.
This concludes Tim's entry for "What I was doing on 9/11."

cont.

Ok, so I have not visited the Land Of Blog for almost 3 weeks, primarily because I have been working alot. I have been working on several projects for KLF. This one is a :60 promotional for the Everlasting Seed Company, (the children's ministry at Kingdom Life Fellowship, if you are not already familiar.)

Does anybody pay attention to my blog?

I feel like I am intruding on girl time. Is this the case?
I am also frustrated with the blogging. How do you know if someone has posted recently?

Dilemma!

Ok...so I have a dilemma!
I have a relationship in Indianapolis, that could be the doorway to millions with an M. At this point we know there is a door.

KTXS just called me back, and I turned down the offer of Full Time Editor, because they weren't offering enough peanuts. They then called back a second time, crunching peanuts under the GM's orders.

What would you do?

The Real World - A follow up to 'If You Had Nothing...'

If you answered
(A), rich dad would say you are programmed to be an employee.
(B) he would say you were programmed to be an entrepreneur.
(C) rich dad would say you were programmed to be an investor and entrepreneur.

Rich dad also said, "Most people are programmed from birth to go and look for a job. In fact they go to school to reinforce that programming. If you want to be able to respond with the latter two answers, you will need a different form of education, a form of education he called education for the reall world.
The following excerpt got me thinking...
"Most think they do," says rich dad, "but if the truth be told, most people today do their best to hide from the real world."..."There are many ways people hide from the real world...other than job security. Most people today spend their lives running from sanctuary to sanctuary, sanctuaries that protect them from the real world. For example, many people leave the sanctuary of home, and go to the sanctuary of college. After graduation, many run to the sanctuary of a job or profession. If they get married, then they create a sanctuary for their family, and the process continues with people running from safe sanctuary to safe sanctuary. When people lose their job, they often dust off their resume and run in search of another sanctuary...or if they get divorced, many run in search of another person to create a home sanctuary with."
Do I have the courage to face the real world?

BLOODY HAYEL!

We have been watching the entire season of So You Think You Can Dance...every episode, twice a week...and tonight was the Big Cahuna, the Show Grande, the Giant Enchilada, the Grand Finale...all the dancing is over, Kat Deeley takes the stage and invites the final two, Sabra and Danny to join her. The music turns suspenseful, the lights dim...Erica's biting her nails...

Sabra

Danny

and then Dish Network loses a transponder!

We missed the last 8 minutes of the season.
Thanks to the Internet, we were able to find out who won - Sabra - via a forum, but no video - yet - This is TEK-NOL-OGIE!

If You Had Nothing...

If you had nothing...no money, no work, no food, no shelter...
What would you do?

A. "I'd find a job to make a few dollars."
B. "I'd look for a business opportunity and build or buy a business."
C. "I'd find an investment and then look for investors."
Questions posed in 'Rich Dad's Prophecy' by Robert Kiyosaki

The Doors

Back in 2006, when Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas first accepted me for college, their word for me was Rev 3:7-8.
This morning at church, 10 years later, the Holy Spirit spoke it to my heart again, and he also reminded me of occasions over the last 10 years that the doors were pivotal in my direction.

These are some of the DOORS:
I did not marry Charity.
I did not kill myself.
I was able to go to the Art Institute of Dallas, to study full time in Video Production.
I married Erica Pangburn.
The doors to work in Chicago were closed.
The door to move to Clyde was opened.
I accepted a position at KTXS-TV in Abilene.
We did not buy the house on Arch Street.
We did buy the house on Race Street.
I surrendered my position at KTXS due to a 'lost' letter from immigration.
I started Silhouette Cinematography.
I took a part time position at KTXS, working 4:30am-9:00am.
I took an opportunity to work at Lowe's, half a day a week.
This opportunity turns into 2 Lowe's stores.
The Door closes on a VW.
A Door opens to a BMW.
The Door closes to a Full Time Job at KTXS as commercial editor, despite 5 years of equity with them, 4 of which were in the same department.
I do have a Door , in the Real Estate Industry. Please join with me in prayer on this!
Mark 11:23
" Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.

I was wondering...

What is my point?
I am proud to be English, and proud to reside in Clyde America. I am husband to Erica of 5 years, and father of none. I have a Father, a Mother, a Brother, a dog, a cat, a job, a business, an opportunity, a chance to live, a chance to give, a choice to be free or a choice to be secure. I like good food and I am partial to British Beer. I am not survived by anyone!

The first step -
